While most load cells use analog technology which is converted to a digital signal in the weighing indicator, these load cells have true digital technology built into the load cells.  Digital load cells allow you to see the actual counts coming out of the load cell which provides a diagnostic function not possible with analog load cells.  By seeing the load cell counts in each load cell, you can determine if one has gone bad, and you know which one it is for easy replacement.
