The LTS lift truck scale concept established the design standards for most of the mobile weighing systems available today and is a principal entry in the LTS Lift Truck Scale product line. Lift Truck Scales manufactured by LTS feature a unique single load cell design that is extremely useful for a wide variety of shipping and receiving operations and applications in virtually every segment of the industrial marketplace.
Since its introduction, the LTS standard lift truck scale has continually demonstrated superior load sample linearity, enhanced serviceability as well as improved heel-to-toe/fork-to-fork accuracy. In addition, the rugged design and construction offers a variety of safety features and can be built with a capacity of 50,000 pounds.

Digital accuracy to 1/10th of 1% of scale capacity with the lift truck mast in a level position (Note: An option is available that would automatically maintain this high degree of accuracy even in an out-of-level condition).
LTS Lift Truck Scales utilize a system of multiple flexures which absorb the constant shock of load-bearing while transferring the weight to a single-cell load mechanism. These critical elements have no moving parts reducing the possibility of failure. Flexures are manufactured from special hardened spring steel. This combined (flexure/single-cell) design provides superior load-sample linearity as well as both heel-to-toe and fork-to-fork accuracy with greatly enhanced durability.
All LTS Lift Truck Scales feature an exclusive design incorporating two sturdy bolts that impart a 5-1 safety margin. These safety bolts secure the load even if the scale is damaged by overloading (accidental misuse or abuse). The load cell rating has been exceeded in tests by 300% without damage to the cell.
Flexure scales are designed for easy on-the-spot replacement thus eliminating costly downtime. Replacement parts are readily available from stocking distributors. Load cells are totally field replaceable using customer maintenance personnel. Easy-to-follow instructions are packed with every unit and are repeated with customer ownership packet.
Our DR2100 and DR2100A Electronic Indicators use the existing forklift power from 12VDC to 48VDC. As an alternative the LTS Lift Truck Scale can provide a battery pack system that will operate the scale and indicator independently of the lift truck’s electrical system.
LTS Scale offers prompt delivery of all standard units from stock in usually one-to-two weeks. All units are shipped F.O.B. Twinsburg, Ohio. We offer excellent discounted shipping rates using our designated carriers or the customer may designate their carrier of choice. Standard parts orders are generally shipped via UPS.
Ease of Installation
Conforming dimensionally to standard I.T.A. (Industrial Truck Association) Specifications for Cleat – (hook) type lift trucks, Filing Scales attach readily to ITA Class II, III and IV Carriages. The 10-step installation procedure is accomplished with ease in under two hours (Note: Installation of optional bar-mounted equipment may take longer). Flexure scales are designed without moving parts, facilitating easy, on-the-spot replacement and eliminating costly downtime. Efficient, low, 4 ½ -inch lost load center minimizes loss of lifting capacity, irrespective of location of load on forks. Precision load cell suspension system for greater linearity. Heel-to-toe and fork-to-fork repeatability achieved by means of unique combination of parallelogram arrangement, shock absorbers, and carriage alignment bolts.
