Ametek Scissor Grips

Scissor grips are ideal for all types of flat samples such as rubber, plastic film, plastic dumbbells, paper and cardboard, sheet metal and foils. The initial grip is provided by spring tension, and the ratio of clamping force to tensile force changes according to the opening width. The larger the opening, the stronger the grips tighten on the specimen. The jaws tighten themselves during force application.
