Cory Schoonover, NSM’s newest Force and Measurement & Material Testing Sales Representative, has been at our Dallas branch for almost six months now. His responsibilities include uncovering new FM/MT business in the Dallas Fort Worth market, growing accounts with our offering and installing new test stands. He serves as the technical advisor between an engineering team and a quality department. Once a product rolls off the manufacturing line, he helps design and specify the equipment it takes to ensure that quality product is being produced. Cory enjoys working on a challenging application and working through all of what it takes to get that challenge solved. He appreciates that every workday is different and exciting.

Since every application Cory works on differs, he finds inherently the most challenging part of his job to be consistently learning new applications and products. Two applications may share the same goal or even be the same product, but how each company attacks that problem is different. Learning what specific application needs are required each time is a challenge. Cory defines himself as curious, helpful and sincere – all qualities that will serve him well in his position. He relaxes, or tries to anyway, by playing video and board games with friends and family and watching and attending sports. He enjoys fishing but needs to get around to doing it more often.
