The Deal:

Nicol Scales and Measurement’s Dallas branch has earned a unique position in the market for a great place for Customers to send their light capacity scales for repair. We have also earned the trust of several top manufacturers, serving as Warranty Centers. The volume has reached a high level, and we need a Depot Scale Repair Coordinator who can interface with customers, diagnosis/repair, quote replacements and maintain the flow of documentation and repair cycles…..Run your own department with our Service Department.

About us and the position:

Founded in 1931 and covering Texas with four offices, The Nicol Group of Companies maintains a strong sales, service, equipment calibration distribution niche in the chemical, recycling, refining, city municipalities, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and transportation and food industries. We are seeking a hands-on Scale In House Service Technician to provide our customers with exceptional service in a timely manner by performing the following responsibilities in our Dallas Office Depot:

• Work in our in-house lab with absolutely no field work. 
• Troubleshoot, Repair and calibrate scales using test weights, unassisted, lifting up to 50lbs.
• Knowledgeable and experienced in multiple manufacturers’ equipment (Mettler Toledo, Weigh-Tronix, Rice Lake, Cardinal, Fairbanks, Sartorius etc…) 
• Complete service reports in a timely fashion using our CertFlo software. 
• Provide customer service in handling quotations and replacement equipment if needed.
• Provide technical assistance to customers over the phone

In House Service Technician Job Requirements:

• Pride in quality of work 
• 5-10 years light capacity scale repair experience 
• Self motivated with the ability to effectively communicate with internal partners and our customers
• Must be able to complete and maintain successful background checks, including Motor Vehicle Report, credit, criminal and drug test/Physical

Compensation:

Base Salary:$50,000, plus Quarterly Depot Repair Revenue, Replacement Eq. Commission
