Usually we at NSM are gathering various back to school supplies for our friends at Community Partners of Dallas. This year’s drive has gone entirely virtual. As they explained below,
“With safety as our top concern for our donors, volunteers, staff, caseworkers and kiddos, for the first time ever our Back-to-School Drive is going virtual!
At Community Partners of Dallas, school supplies are the great equalizer that empowers our kids to start the new year on equal footing with their peers, giving them the opportunity to focus on learning and thriving at school.
COVID-19 has dramatically changed our process, but CPD is still 100% committed to equipping our kids with the tools they need for classroom success.
This year we will provide school supplies to 3,000 abused and neglected children in Dallas County and we need your support more than ever.
With safety as our top concern for our donors, volunteers, staff, caseworkers and kiddos, for the first time ever our Back-to-School Drive is going virtual. We have purchased pre-assembled kits of school supplies that will be distributed to the children through their CPS caseworker.
Rather than collecting supplies, this year we are requesting monetary donations to offset the costs of the supplies we’ve purchased.
Click to make a monetary donation—just $15 will supply one child with age appropriate new school supplies!”
We at NSM are always proud to partner with Community Partners of Dallas; we encourage all who can to donate to this outstanding cause!
