Following in the footsteps of its predecessor, the AGS-J, Shimadzu introduces the AGS-X. The AGS-X caters to the Rubber, Plastic and Film
industries, enabling efficient, powerful tensile and compression tests, and also has the ability to perform bending tests of thermostatic resin, peeling testing and the plastic 3 point bending test.

Accessible Control – Use the main operation panel to call up test methods from a PC.  Conduct testing by calling up test methods from TRAPEZIUM LITE X software. The AGS-X can be used as a standalone tester to test specimens using test methods created with the tester itself.

Precision position adjustments – The optional jog controller can be used for convenient crosshead positional adjustments. This allows hand-held control of the crosshead position. The jog dial makes fine positioning a breeze.

Software – Even the complex becomes easy.  The AGS-X utilizes the newly released, easy-to-use TRAPEZIUM LITE X software. A refined interface, with fewer buttons present on screen, provides easy one-touch method selection. Many tedious operations have been automated using macros so that a sequence of operations frequently conducted after testing will be fully automated (for example: creating a report or printing out results). In addition, the “Quick List Method” makes frequently used tests easy to find and start instantly, and many built-in functions test in accordance with JIS, ISO and ASTM methods.
