NEXYGEN™ DF software expands the functionality of your CHATILLON® digital force gauge. This easy-to-use Windows® based package interfaces directly to your digital force gauge.
You can download peak load results from the gauge and display your results in tabular and graphical formats. Graphical results include markers denoting exact point positions. Results can be color coded for immediate pass/fail recognition. You can easily specify units of measure, fonts,
titles, force measurement resolution. The software provides basic force measurement tensile and compression test formats including pull to break, pull to limit, compress to rupture and compress to limit. The software also provides torque to break and torque to limit analysis when connected to a Chatillon torque gauge.
Results are presented in a spreadsheet format so you can analyze and manipulate data and perform common mathematical and statistical
calculations.
The software is easy to setup and features intelligent prompts, menus, combo boxes and other methods to get you up and running quickly and efficiently with minimal training. Navigation is simple using “drag & drop” and cut, copy and paste techniques. Data is easily exported to Microsoft® Word®, Excel®, Access®, Powerpoint® or Outlook®.

Exceptional Accuracy
The LS1 features unprecedented load accuracy. The machine uses high accuracy interchangeable XLC Series load cells. Tension and compression testing with cycling to load and extension limits are standard features. A load accuracy of +/- 0.5% down to 1% of loadcell value provides high
dynamic range. An additional benefit is that the number of load cells required to cover the full force range may be reduced, saving the user both time in changing over different value loadcells when testing samples of different forces and also the cost of purchasing different capacity loadcells.
More Machine Control Options
The LS1 machine can be used in stand alone mode using an optional control console or with a PC or laptop and our acclaimed NEXYGENPlus analysis software. The control console features a membrane multi-function keypad and easy to read backlit LCD to display load and extension
information. The control console displays prompts and menus, which guide the user through machine operations. The system is capable of storing up to 600 test results from a choice of 10 programmable test set-ups. The machine is also supplied as standard with a hand held controller. Alternatively, LS1 machine performance can be optimised and controlled using our innovative, highly acclaimed NEXYGENPlus data analysis and control software. PC interface is via USB allowing standard laptops to be used. This means that no special PC interface cards is required.

Queries
Queries are a new feature allowing data from multiple batches to be quickly analysed. Typical applications would be,
- Sorting test data eg by maximum force or part ID
- Filtering test data by part ID or to view all tests with a result above or below a certain value
- Combining archived batches to allow analysis of all data
- Reporting on multiple batches, eg. merging batches for a particular product. Separate batches may be made for tensile test, friction test and peeling test of a plastic film. Queries allows data from all 3 to be temporarily combined to allow a report to be made detailing the films properties.
- Automating Excel exporting for example only exporting values above or below a certain value. Or exporting results to separate worksheets for each unique part ID
Security and Audit Trails
The NEXYGENPlus security and audit trail module allows the supervisor to configure their system to enable compliance with the requirements of FDA 21 CFR Part 11. Restricting user access rights increases security and avoids costly errors.

Rubbers and Elastomers: Rubber hardness has traditionally been measured under a set of fixed conditions according to JIS K6301/ISO7619 using a rubber hardness tester. Now, the DUH-211 permits measurement of this same amterial under various different sets of conditions. Additionally, this instrument also permits hardness measurement of the surface layers alone, thus providing useful
information for the study of surface deterioration.
Glasses and Ceramics: The DUH is capable of measuring brittle samples, such as glass and ceramics, either with or without forming cracks.
Thin Films: Measuring the strength of film coatings produced by chemical vapor deposition (CVD), physical vapor deposition (PVD), or surface layers treated by ion implantation, is important for improving film production techniques. Since the DUH-211m is able to measure using ultra-low loads, it is ideal for this application.
